Drawings (and a digital drawing) at the AsianArtMuseum in SanFrancisco
Yesterday i joined my friend Laurie W at the Sketchers Meetup she runs at the Asian Art Museum. I took lots of photos, I’m looking for pattern brush inspiration…
but I also did a few drawings—on paper!
The first was on my iPhone with Adobe Ideas and my finger (I need a stylus if I’m going to do this more) and is of a Mythical Serpent over a doorway in the Thai rooms
Then I took out my sketchbook and my “magic red crayon” and drew another mythical creature—the Mythical Bird-man (also from Thailand)
and lastly the comical Seussical duck vessel up at the top of this post—made in Korea c200–300.
It’s good to draw on paper again…
