Working back and forth between traditional and digital media, this series uses my digitized paintings, and letters from my father, as source imagery. The earliest pieces in this series were digital originals, the more recent works are one-of-a-kind collages in paper, transfer, and fabric. Many include paint or watercolor pencil. You can see some of the source imagery in the other portfolios. Often the “final” collages are digitized and then, themselves, serve as source materials for new works.
